1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also rely on related technologies including localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB and the Cache API to deliver core product functionality. Together we refer to these as "storage technologies".
2. Strictly necessary cookies
Required to deliver the service. They cannot be disabled in the application.
- Authentication tokens — keep you signed in to your workspace.
- CSRF / anti-forgery tokens — protect form submissions and mutations.
- Load balancing and session affinity — route requests to the correct edge.
- Security telemetry — detect anomalous sessions and account takeover.
3. Preference cookies
Stored locally so the interface remembers your choices.
- Selected workspace, active project, language and time zone.
- Theme (light/dark) and density preferences.
- Sidebar collapse state, recently viewed entities, dashboard layout.
- Saved filters, table column visibility and AI quick-action presets.
4. Analytics cookies
First-party, privacy-preserving instrumentation used to measure feature adoption, performance and reliability. No third-party advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies are set in the authenticated application.
5. AI session storage
AI Assistant conversations, Copilot context and Twin Analyst tool calls are stored in your browser session and on our servers scoped to your user identity, never shared across workspaces or users.
6. Consent & legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of legitimate interests required to provide the service requested. Non-essential analytics and preference cookies on the public marketing site are set only after explicit consent is recorded via the consent banner, where required by law (UK PECR, EU ePrivacy Directive).
7. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. The consent banner on the marketing site allows you to accept, decline or customise non-essential cookies. Clearing cookies will sign you out and reset your preferences.
8. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
The marketing site honours the DNT header and GPC signals where transmitted by the browser. The authenticated application does not set advertising trackers, so DNT/GPC have no additional effect there.
9. Changes
We update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove storage technologies. Material changes are announced in-product and on the marketing site.
